1989 Press Photo Four Students Died in Ice Fishing Shanty on Harpt Lake

Four high school students were found dead in an ice-fishing shanty (left) on Harpt Lake in the Town of Gibson in northern Manitowoc County. The teenagers died of carbon-monoxide poisoning from their propane heaters, authorities said Sunday.
