1985 Press Photo James Burnett supervises loading of wrecked Midwest DC-9 engine

James E. Burnett, chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board, supervised the loading of the wrecked Pratt & Whitney JT8D-7 jet engine onto a truck Monday. The engine was from the Midwest Express DC-9 that crashed Friday near Mitchell Field.
