Over 150 persons injured at demonstration against building of nuclear power plant at Brofdorf/West-germ: On November 13th, 1976, some 20,000 persons demonstrated against the building of a nuclear power plant at Brokdorf, Northern Germany. At this second mass protest, some of the demonstrators tried again to occupy the hermetically barred up building site. But due to heavy police and works-protection forces, using tear gas and water guns, they did not succeed. in the clashes, which went on until the evening, 79 policemen and about 100 demonstrators were injured. The first mass demonstration took place on October 30th after the building site had been barred up in the early morning of October 26th.
