After the Atlantic Council meeting in Lisbon this spring, NATO members officially accepted Manlio Brosio's resignation, who will be retiring after having been NATO's secretary for 11 years. Joseph Luns (pictured), Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs, will succeed him as NATO's 5th secretary.
