1955 Press Photo General Gruenther Receives Civic Honor

General Gruenther just added a civic honor to his long list of military ones. At the Supreme Headquarters of the European Allied Powers, the Commander and Chief of the Allied European forces was made a knight of the Order of French Courtesy. After receiving his ribbon, the General thanked his guests with a speech that was applauded by all.
