Pierre Dumas, Secretary of Tourism, went swimming yesterday in Bretagne on one of the beaches that was polluted by an oil spill. At the time of the spill, Dumas made a bet that he would be swimming on the cleaned beaches in June. It has been done and he won his bet. Coming out of the water at Tregastel, Pierre Dumas declared "The swim was excellent, it was my first one and you see, I don't have any trace of oil . . ."
