1954 Press Photo Set of sunglasses at German exhibition in Wiesbaden.

Every photo in our collection is an original vintage print from a newspaper or news service archive, not a digital image. Please see our FAQ for more information.

Description
This young woman tilted her head towards the dim, because she is wearing a prototype of the "ideal" pair of sunglasses, which is being shown at the newly-opened "German Inventor's Exhibition" in Wiesbaden. Steel balls that run in the brackets attached to the set of glass can either show the dimming-panes with a tilt of the head or leave one's view unobstructed.

Photo measures 6 x 8 inches.

Photo is dated 5-8-1954.
