1952 Press Photo Mini Eiffel Tower Displayed for "Monsartre" Festival - Hamburg

Paris Comes to the Alster! A miniature Eiffel Tower was displayed before the Curio-House as an emblem of the shortly-to-be-occurring large art-festival "Monsartre" in Hamburg. Jean Paul Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, and other leading figures of Paris were invited to the festival, which is under the control of the protectorate of the French consul general of Nerciat.
