Tax-Hike Causes Divorce Epidemic: The dual-section of the tax law in preparation will not exactly contribute to marital bliss in all parts of West Germany - quite the contrary, divorces, which evidently correlate to the good income of the wife in the marriage, are already becoming more frequent. One such affected pair, probably out of opposition, organized a series of ceremonies in Munich that are supposed to ridicule the new law. This approach is certainly not pleasant, on the other hand however, considering the current pressure of existing taxes it is certainly understandable.
