Pictured: Bob Ingo Sponda and his wife with a part of his extensive collection . In Frankfurt, Bob Ingo Sponda, the chair of this hobby's community, may have consolidated one of the largest amounts of matchbox labels. He has 96,350 different motifs and 150,000 doublets for trade. A large exposition, titled "Philluma 67" is planned in 1967 for Frankfurt. So far there are over 100,000 collectors and even kings aren't spared from the fervor of this hobby. For example, King Alfons XIII of Spain, the king of Siam, and also King Faruk of Egypt were enthusiastic phillumenists.
