XI Congress of the LCY: XI Congress of the League of Communists of Yugoslavia was held in Belgrade in the newly constructed universal 4000 seat Hall, June 20th - June 23rd. More than 3000 delegates and representatives of all structures, nationalities and peoples of Yugoslavia attended the Congress, as well as delegations of Communist, Workers, and other progressive parties from 135 countries. President of the LCY Josip Broz Tito opened the Congress and addressed the opening session.
