Ceylon M.P.'s released from house detention after 3 months, thank their guards: The Federal Party members of parliament who have been under house detention for the past three months under the emergency law, which is still in force, in Ceylon have been released, although the Federal Party has been proscribed. Photo shows Mr & Mrs K.M.P. Rajavatne, members of the outlawed Jatikavimukti Peramuna party bid a pleasant farewell to two armed police guards who have kept them in their home in Colombo for the past 3 months. Both appear to be pleased their ordeal has ended.
