Demonstrations In Montevideo, Uruguay: In spite of the low temperature (three degree) fifteen thousands people made a demonstration recently - a little before the severance of relations - through the 18th July Avenue, in the heart of Montevideo, the capital if Uruguay, chanting:"Cuba, yes; Yankees, no.' and "No the severance. the people are with Cuba". This was the fifth big demonstration in Montevideo - after the OAS conference sponsored by the National Coordinating Committee for support of the Cuban Revolution", and the Uruguayan Workers Center and the University Students Federation backed by the progressive circles of the country and the popular maser. Photo No. 1 in eloquent poster in the streets of Montevideo reads: "Do not let our sovereignty to be trampled".
