Rehearsal for the coronation procession: A rehearsal for the Coronation procession was held this morning. About 300 troops were used to represent the unite taking part. They left Buckingham Palace at 5 am arriving at Westminster Abbey a little more than half an hour later. The troops wore battledre~s and no bands were used. The State Coach and a few troops to represent the immediate entourage covered the rest of the route. The object of the rehearsal was to practice the marshaling of the procession. Photo shows Early risers seen on the Victoria Memorial as they wait for the procession rehearsal to begin.
