Anti-Atomic weapons Demonstration of foulness: A non-violent anti-Nuclear weapons demonstration was held this morning against the Atomic weapons research Establishment, at Foulness Island, near Southhend, Essex. Under the name "Operation Foulness" - the demonstrators lay down in the roads and had to be removed by police. Photo shows Police in the background as the demonstrators lie on the roadway - on the approaches to the establishment this morning. They were removed by the police.
