Start of trail against putative raiders on West German Embassy in Stockholm: On may 6th 1976, the trial against the four putative raiders on the West German embassy in Stockholm, will start at the Supreme Court of Northrhine West falia in Dusseldorf.
Accused of murder in two cases, of joint of keeping of hostages as well as of joint attempted intimidation are Manfred Taufer (32), Hanna Krabbe (30), Bernd Maria Rossner (29) and Karl Heinz Dellwo (24). During the raid, which took place on April 24th 1975, two members of the embassy (military attache Hillegaard) has been shot by the terrorists. Two of the six raiders, Ulrich Wessel and Siegfried Hausner, had died during the assault.
The trail will be led by judge Hermann Josef Miller, who also led the trial against Gunter Guillaume, and is held at former police barracks. The building has been converted into a sound and interception proof court room, which is artificially illuminated and ventilated.
