Atomic-power-opponents occupy the area of the atomic-power-plant in Gorleben/West Germany: About 5000 atomic-powerp-opponents of a ll countries of West-Germany occupied at Saturday, may 3rd, 1980 the third auger hole for the planned atomic refuse pit in the salt stone of Gorleben/West Germany. Without intervention of the police and without incidences on the side of the demonstrators. They started to built a kraal on the area of the German Society for Re-Upgrading of Atomic Fuel (DWK. The material for the kraal was given by the population of the area around Gorleben. The demonstrators intend with the help of the round village make possible a long term occupation To the village shall belong a friendship house for meetings and cultural performances as well as a lot of supply plants, hats and a camping place. Photo shows general view of the area of Gorleben, occupied by thousands of atomic power opponents who came from all over West Germany.
