Trooping The Color Ceremony On Horse Guards Parade Today the Queen attended the Trooping the Color ceremony on the Horse Guards Parade, Whitehall, to mark her official birthday. A one-minute silence was observed as an "Act of Remembrance" for the Duke of Windsor. Following the ceremony the Queen and other members of the Royal Family came out on the balcony at Buckingham Palace to watch the fly-past of the aircraft.
