Earthquakes Scenes from Turkey: Original picture just received, show scenes from Varto, which took the full force of the earthquake which struck provinces in Kastara Turkey last Friday, and which killed 2,300 people and rendered 70,000 homeless. Photo shows Carefully the rescue workers drag the dead body of the little girl from beneath the rubble. In order to do this thety had to shift the heavy earth with their bare hands. All they had to assist them was a small shovel, not enough to proceed with any speed.
