SECURITY COUNCIL BEGINS CONSIDERATION OF COMPLAINT BY THE UNITED STATES AGAINST NORTH KOREA: United Nations, New York, 26 January 1968. The Security Council voted this afternoon to inscribe on its agenda the US compliant against North Korea, and then began debate on the item, hearing statements by the representatives of the United States and the Soviet Union. The representatives of the US and the USSR also spoke under the right of reply. Seen here just prior to the opening of this afternoon's Security Council meeting, are photographers taking pictures of (left to right at the table): Alakei K.
