Floods ravage Philippines: One of the Worst floods in Philippine history recently devastated Pangasinan Privince in Northern Luson, leaving in its wake nearly 1,000 dead and huge damage to property. Typhoon Wendy was blamed for the disaster. Torrential rains overflowed the Ange and Balincaguin Rivers and swept through the remote rural province. In Mabini, the worst hit town nearly two thirds of the town were under water. Photo shows view of the aftermath of the disastrous flood, just outside Mabini town.
