Enjoying the Ceasefire along the Suez Canal: With the Ceasefire being fairly well adhered to along the Suez Canal itself -Israeli soldiers are relaxing at the Bar~Lev Line facing the canal, constant action and life practically underground in the bunkers. At the same time they are ever at the ready,prepared for any eventuality. A month age if someone had seen a Soldier with out his helmet standing outside in the sun. gazing sears the canal through his binoculars, he would have thought he was dreaming. now this is part of the way of life. Photo shows In the quiet of the Ceasefire the radio plays and this flack jacketed soldier eats oranges and smokes as though on his port back home.
