Grave flood in Northern-Germany: The entire northern-german maritime region was hit in the early hours of this morning by heavy tidal waves, even Mamburg was stricken forcibly, the flood tide advanced up to the Town-Hall in the city. Thousands of soldiers red-cross-helpers and volunteers are in uninterrupted efforts busy with rescuing. Reports from the stricken region term the catastrophe already as the present century's biggest tidal-wave-catastrophe of Europe. Photo shows Military vehicles for rescue-purposes in the flooded streets of Wilhelmsburg the industrial outskirts of Hamburg.
