Floods in the West Country scene near Weymouth: Six hundred people were made homeless by the floods which caused damage and havoc in the West Country today. Flood waters burst the banks of the RIvers Brit and Asker bringing damage to the little holiday town of Bridport about fifteen miles west of Weymouth. Photo shows Aerial view showing some of the land on either side of the railway in the Weymouth area under water during the floods today.
