Twenty One Persons Killed In Plantation Landslide In Sri Lanka (Ceylon): Tragedy struck the tea growing district of Ragala, in Central Sri Lanka, recently when a landslide occurred on Liddlesdale Tea Estate, completely covering a Cooperative store and burying alive 21 persons who were buying their weekly food rations at that time. Photo shows judicial officers, assisted by Police personnel, holding an inquest into the deaths.
