~~age..the Old folk rest after the storm: Peace in their faces..peace, even in the set of their hands. No picture ever expressed more clearly the serenity of old folk who have faced death together and survived. James Rose-Wilks had lived for 30 years on Canvey Island before the week's floods came. He and his wife, Daisy, were taken from the devastation of their home to a reception centre in Benfleet. They rested their yesterday.
