Thirty one year old Woodworker charged with eight murders: The trial continues at the Glasgow, Scotland Court - of thirty one year old woodworker Peter Manuel of Birkenhad, Uddington, Lanarkshire who is charged with the murder of Eight people.. Manuel pleads "No~ - Guilty". Photo shows Composite showing the eight people of whom Peter Manuel is charged with murdering. They are Top L-R Anne Kneilands, found battered to death on a golf course at East Kilbride golf course on Jan 2nd. 1956. She was 17; Mrs. Marion Watt - her daughter Vivienne and her sister Mrs. Margaret Brown who were shot at their home in High Burnside on Sept 17. 1956; Bottom L-R: Isabelle Cook (17) of Mount Vernon - found dead on a footpath on December 28th 1957; Peter James Smart, his wife Doris and their son Michael (10) shot at their home at Uddington on Jan 1st. 1958.
