Egypt Crisis over kidnapped London Airman: The sharp new crisis blew up suddenly between Britain and Egypt today, In Ismailie, British and Military base in the Canal Zone, and in Cairo, the situationis tense. It follows the kidnapping last Friday of British Airman, L.A.C., A.V. Rigden. The British gave the Egyptian government unti 9am. today to return him. And, as at that time the British received only a flat rejection of their demand, British troops went into action. British paratroopers of teh 18th Airborne Division, clamped down stringent traffic onctrols in Ismailia. Roadnlocks were manned and heavy machine guns were set up. Photo shows Mr and Mrs Harry Rigden parents of the kidnapped airmen, reading the telegram from the Air Ministry, seen with their children, Disagree, 19 and Terry 14 at their home in Brookside-*raod Holloway, this morning.
