This is the path of the 19ft high flood which burst on the picturesque village of Gunni Slake, Cornwall, some 50 people being evacuated from their homes, when a cloudburst caused the flood. There are steep streets and danger also comes from obsolete tin mines..many cottages had water up to their bedroom windows.

Photo measures 9.75 x 8 inches.

Photo is dated 11-11-1954.
