Munich/West Germany: Open Air Festival With Some Very Popular Groups
To a great success...
... became also in this year the Open Air Festival of Munich/West Germany, which took place on June 1st, 1980 in the Olympic riding stadium in Riem. About 30,000 fans from all over Bavaria visited this meeting - and although the weather has been rainy and cold, the atmosphere was "hot" (but peaceful); no wonder, a lot of very famous groups and singers provided for a 'real good feeling', for exultation and ringing cheers.
After the great success of the 1. Munich Open Air Festival in the last year and also now in 1980, - this music festival is said to get tradition and will be arranged every year in Munich in the future.
