Pre-Olympic competitions in Koblenz: Four days before the opening of the Olympic Games in Rome, on Aug. 21st, 1960 women athlets of world class met in Koblenz (KOBLENZ/West-Germany) for an international pre-Olympic women sporting festival. Photo shows During the 80-metres-hurdles (from left): T. Mutter (MUTTER) of Holland, Madeleine Thetu (THETU) of France, Jutta Stock (Stock) of Germany, Letizia Bertoni (BERTONI) of Italy, Barbara Janiszewska (JANISZEWSKA) of Poland who beat the Polish record over 80 m hurdles during this race, and Denise Guenard (GUENARD) of France.
