Two Former Italian Defense Ministers Deny They Took Bribes From Lockheed Aircraft Co.: Two former Italian Defense Ministers, Luigi Gui, and Mario Tanassi, have issued statement denying allegations that they took bribes from the Lockheed Aircraft Co. to push slaes of its military aircraft. The denial followed disclosures by a U.S. Congress sub-committee that two un-named Italians defence ministers, their parties and collaborators received sizeable sums for helping to sell 14 Hercules C-130 transport planes to the Italian Air Force. Photo shows Mario Tanassi, who has denied allegations that he took bribes from Lockheed Aircraft Co.
