Women priest to preach at the Abbey: Canon Mary Michael Simpson from America will be the first women priest of the Anglican communion to preach in Westminster Abbey when she goes into the pulpit there at evensong, tomorrow afternoon.Canon Simpson, who is also a nun of the order of St.Helen, is a residentiary Canon of the Cathedral of St John the divine, New York.
