£15,000 Worth Of Antique Jewellery Stolen By Raiders From A Van On Its Way To Woburn Abbey: Antique jewellery worth £15,000 was stolen today by masked raiders who ambushed the van carrying it from London to Woburn Abbey, the home of the Duke and Duchess of Bedford. The jewellery was on its way from the Duke's family jewellers in the West End to an antique fair, staged by the Duchess at Woburn Abbey. Photo shows Dectectives at the scene of the robbery examining articles for fingerprints. In background can be seen the estate car and the bandit's van which rammed it.

Photo measures 9.75 x 8 inches.
