1974 Press Photo Stolen Painting Guitar Player, St. Bartholomew The Great Church

Stolen Vermeer painting found.: The Vermeer painting " The Guitar Player ", which was stolen in February from Kenwood House Hampstead, was found last night in a City churchyard by detectives from Scotland Yard's Flying Squad, following a tip-off. The painting, which is valued at £1,250,000 was found at St. Bartholomew-the-Great Church, and taken to Scotland Yard for examination by experts. Photo shows view of St. Bartholomew-the-Great Church, where the painting 'The Guitar Player' on right, was found.
