600 Police Clash With Pop Fans In A "Clear Out" Raid At Windsor Great Park: More than 600 police swooped on 2,000 hippies at the Windsor Great Park pop festival and ordered them to "pack up your tents and go". Some obeyed the order, but many of them resisted. A scene of hysteria broke out following the clash between the police and the pop fans. Many people were injured, during the violent battle, including several policemen. Nearly 100 fans were arrested. Photo shows The battle over police take a welcome rest in Windsor Great Park today.
