Calcutta zoo's Tigon : The Tigon is a product of mating a tiger and a lioness -and after several attempts and tragic deaths of their cubs, a male Bengal tiger called Munna and a lioness Called Munni, have succeeded in producing a Tigon, which was born in October 1972, and is a female of rare beauty. The rare animal has been exceptionally mother, so she been lef to be reared of its mother. The father - Munna, was however, kept be kept separated until the cub becomes of age. The Tigon was named recently "Rudrani". Photo shows Rudrani, the rare Tigon is seen with her loving mother, Munni, at the Calcutta zoo.
