Preparing for the pageantry of the coronation:Expert Embroiderers and seamstresses at Hobs on and Sons, of Lexington , Golden Square, London, are now busy getting out their orders in time for the coronation ceremonies. Articles they are working on include Pipe banners,and trumpet banners, the crown and royal ciphers which will be worn on the tunics of the Household Cavalry and the Ye~~n Warders of the Tower of London, Drum Major's "(Illegible)" for the Guards, epaulettes in gold cord and various Regimental standards. All these have to be embroidered by hand in cloured silks and gold thread.
