Description
The World's Only "Leopons" - Are Growing Up. Rare Offspring in Japanese Zoo.: The 190 day old "Leopon" cubs half leopard and half lion - born at the Hanshin Park Zoo, near Kober, Japan - are growing into fine looking animals. Their father is a leopard and their mother a lioness. The cubs are a male and a female - and while the female can climb the tree in their cage, the male cub is unable to do so - he is rather more clumsy. The coat of the female is becoming light - while that of the male - darker. Photo shows A vetinary ssurgeon emamines the female "Leopon". Great care is taken of the animals - because they are very very rare.

Photo measures 8.25 x 6 inches.

Photo is dated --0000.
