THIRTEEN YEAR OLD BRIAN - STOWED AWAY WHEN THE CIRCUS CAME TO TOWN. Thirteen year old Brian Jones who is 3ft. 7 in.tall - was found yesterday - when Billy Smart's Circus arrived at Blackheath, London at the end of the journey from Coventry.. He had stowed away in a caravan for the 100 mile journey. For his determination - he was allowed to sit on one of the wagons as it was driven through the streets. Afterwards he was sent home - by train - to his mother at Great Barr, Birmingham.. Billy Smart promised to consider giving him a job - when he is a little older.. He made friends with Sasha.
