Bessie-and the Lion cubs. Unusual foster Children: Bessie a family pet in Simdstrup, Denmark gave birth to pups a couple of weeks ago. Now she has two more mouths to feed in the shape of lion cubs born to a Circus lioness who immediately abandoned her young. Bessie was given the job of foster mother and appeared to be very glad to do so and treats them as her very own.
