1975 Press Photo Cow Wearing Advertising Cover Vladivar Vodka Brighton Festival

Every photo in our collection is an original vintage print from a newspaper or news service archive, not a digital image. Please see our FAQ for more information.

Description
Cows used for advertising in the fields-seen by train passengers: If you travel on the Brighton-Victoria line, chances are that during the journey you'll see a herd of cows wearing coats publicising Vodka and the Brighton Festival. The idea comes from Mr. David Maby, who runs a London publicity firm, who says it's being done so that people can see advertising in the fields. Photo shows one of the advertising cows seen in a field wearing its coat.

Photo measures 10 x 7.25 inches.

Photo is dated 04-04-1975.
