Michelangelo's Tondo Being Lent To Victoria And Albert Museum: Michelangelo's Priceless tondo - or circular relief of the Virgin and child with the young St. John - which is being lent to the Victoria and Albert Museum by the Royal Academy. The tondo, which is inaured for the three million pounds with Lloyds of London, will, later this year, be shown in Soviet Russia and interrupting its return journey at the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam. Photo shows Mr. George Tuck, 55, one of the only two men in living memory known to have handled the priceless tondo, seen supervising the preparations for the removal - at the Royal Academy today.
