An island is being born: At the time when all the world still is under the impression of the terrible earth quake of Agadir and when the experts forsee as new eruption of the Vesuv in 1960, the new coloured film "Gates of Hell" (Pforten der Holle) is announced. It is the documentary film by the Relgian scientist Haroun Tazieff (Haroun Tazieff) who ventured to visit the greatest vulcanos of the world in their interior. Our picture shows a sea quake with an eruption near the Azoren Isles.
