1957 Press Photo High-Water Floods in the Erzgebirge Mountains of East-Germany

High-water in the Erzgebirge (Mountains of East-Germany) Persistent (resembling cloud-bursts) rains have resulted in expansive floods in and around the town of Pirna. Dams of two rail-roads have been washed away and transportation to several villages interrupted. OPS:- People's police with rubber dinghies during alarm.
