The Samuel Pepys' - new £75,000 Riverside pub is opened in London.: The Samuel Pepys, the new riverside pub, converted from an old warehouse off Upper Thames Street at a cost of £75,000 was opened today by Charrington's Quotations from Samuel Pepys diary can be seen in the restaurant, where tables in alcoves are named after his amourous adventures on the ''And so to bed'' theme. Photo shows three of the waitresses (top to bottom) Jan McDonald, Trudy Jeffery and Jackie Dufall, dressed in the costumes of the Samuel Pepy's era seen in the restaurant of the new pub today.
