Roman Catholic priest to become a plain Mister and Marry "Miss Ceylon 1963". Rev. Fr. (" Call me mister) Noel Crusz of the Omi order, one of ceylon's best known Roman Catholic priests, has decided to lay down his priestly robes. He also plans to marry a former "Miss Ceylon", a 28-year -old school teacher ling in the Islands ancient hill capital of Kandy, in Central Ceylon she is miss Manel de Silva. Father crusz has petitioned pope Paul V1 through his eminence Thomas Cardinal Cooray to reduce hime to lay status and to grant him dispensation from his priestly obligations and from the solemn vow of chastity Fr Crusz said he was leaving the priesthood primerily because of the rule of celib~~v.
