Wash and Brush up for Mr. Gladstone. The statue of Gladstone outside St. Clement Danes in the Strand, gets a clean - up from the hands of Mr. Bronce Mumphrey (right) and his assistant Mr. Melvyn Booth, yesterday. It is nine years since the "Grand Old Man" was cleaned by Mr. Mumphrey.
