Art Council 'Put Foot In It' With ~7,000 For Tray Of Manure: Art lovers visiting the Serpentine Gallery in Kensington Gardens yesterday were in no doubt The Arts Council has definitely put its foot in it this time." They were commenting on the ~7,000 the Arts council has aid for a controversial exhibit which features, among other things, tray full of animal droppings. The "creation", paid for out of taxpayer money, is the work of Norfolk artists Bruce Lacey and his wife, Jill, and is their view of nature's yearly cycles.
