Dr.Adams takes a day off to watch operations-on closed circuit colour T.V : Dr. John Bodkin Adams was to be seen among many other doctors and surgeons- when he attended the colour TV closed circuit transmission - from St.Bartholomew's Hospital..The operations being carried out at the hospital were screened for the experts - at the Royal College of Surgeons - in connection with the Anglo-French Congress of Surgeons. The Doctor travelled up from Eastbourne specially to see the transmission-he said that the fascinating development would interest any General practitioner. Photo shows Dr. John Bodkin Adams, with his arms folded- takes his eyes off the screen for a moment.
